Please join Pennsylvania Bio for a day of collaboration and education with Pennsylvania policy makers.
Pennsylvania Bio’s Legislative Day events will focus elected leaders and members of the media to increase their awareness of the economic impact of the Life Science industry, and to create forward momentum for the next decade.

Pennsylvania Bio and leaders from the House and Senate Life Science Caucuses will kick off the day’s events by providing industry background and an insider’s look at the life science industry’s prominence in the Commonwealth.

Press Conference: The Plan for the Next Decade of Opportunity:

The Life Science Leadership Advisory Council (LSLAC) organized in 2011, with the goal of creating an economic development strategy plan for Pennsylvania to provide a roadmap to identify strengths, opportunities and alleviates any gaps in the life science continuum. The Council is comprised of key industry leaders, business and healthcare groups, representatives of the Corbett Administration and the co-chairs of the Life Science Caucuses.
Pennsylvania Bio and members of the LSLAC will announce a strategy that looks to both short-term recommendations and long-term public-private investments in an effort to maintain Pennsylvania’s global leadership into the next decade.
The press conference will highlight the efforts of thought leaders from academia, industry, and government.
